Hi,

just read the new html mans for the d.rast.pg and
d.what.r(v).pg modules.

You can simply reclass by d.rast.pg using any integer
column from postgres table for creating reclass rule:
old_val=new_val

I guess the first part of your problem can be done by
d.what.v.pg - from this module you can generate a list
of comma-separated values; or use the "update" as
given in example in manpage to insert values picked
from the screen into a postgres table.
