[SQLGRASS] (no subject)

hi
  i m trying to store the attributes of a vector map
in postgres tables.......i m using pg driver....
i connect it using the command
db.connect driver=pg
database="host=127.0.0.1,dbname=spearfish,user=smishra".
then i do db.tables -p it does not show the tables of
database spearfish.
i think  its not getting connected at all.
kindly help me in this regard...
